Bible Education

There are various ways offered for you to learn about God’s message of hope in the Bible. These are listed below with a description of what happens at each.

Gospel Presentation

Held on most Sunday evenings in our hall, although occasionally they are held in a hired venue. Seating is in rows facing the front of the hall. The meeting is run by a chairman and there is usually one speaker who will present the Gospel message to the advertised title. The meeting commences with a prayer and is followed by a reading from the Bible by the Chairman. The presentation follows, the chairman will give some announcements and then close the meeting with prayer. The meeting usually lasts about one hour. Gospel Family Afternoon

Held on some Sunday afternoons in our hall, as advertised. Seating is in rows facing the front of the hall. The meeting is run by a chairman and there is usually one speaker who will present the Gospel message to the advertised title. The meeting commences with a prayer and is followed by a reading from the Bible by the Chairman. The presentation is given and this is followed by an activity session to encourage children to be involved in the meeting. The chairman will then give some announcements and close the meeting with prayer. The meetings go for about one and a quarter hours. To find what is coming, go to the Up Coming Events via the Button

Bible Reading

Held on some Sunday evenings in our hall, usually during school holidays, as advertised. Seating is in groups. The meeting is run by a chairman who introduces the reading(s). The meeting commences with a prayer and is followed by members of each group reading aloud a couple of verses each from the Bible.  The reading is then discussed. Comments are welcome from any member of the group. After about half an hour, the chairman will give some announcements and close the meeting with prayer. The meeting lasts about an hour. Bible Seminars

Held occasionally on Tuesday evenings in our hall or in a hired venue, as advertised. A seminar series is usually held over six weeks.  Seating is around tables. The meeting is run by two presenters. One of the presenters will open the Seminar with prayer. The subject material is presented with the opportunity for questions and discussion. There is a break for supper and discussion. The presentation is continued and one of the presenters closes with prayer. Each seminar goes for about one and a half hours.
